So the US promo materials have yet to feature Emily VanCamps Sharon Carter or Batroc the Leaper.

I keep wondering if they're going to do any kind of Sharon Carter centric preview to air during Revenge. Revenge is on ABC so there wouldn't need to worry about promoting somebody else's movie, and it would be make sense to make her fans aware she's in the movie.

No there isn't but Germany is notorious for unnecessary and sometimes ridiculous Sub-Titles.

I'm eager to see this film.

I'm hoping that the story is a bit deeper. I think all the Marvel films have been very good and have consistent quality of acting and story. My problem is that there has been no bottom to these stories, no real deep running themes to get excited about. It's more about surface. I hope this film gives the MCU a weighty feel it kind of lacks.

I don't think it necessarily means Barton and Romanoff have a romantic relationship. It could just vs connected to their past history together. That being said, it does show we need more Hawkeye. Maybe a Black Widow and Hawkeye movie.

A whole press release was done about his casting. The first image was released last week. Entertainment outlets covered it. It's not like it was a secret, you just missed it, doesn't make the mentioning of him as needing to be spoiler coded though. Sorry you feel spoiled though, just saying it's not spoilery is all to mention information that's been public for some time.

No worries, I did miss it. Looked it up earlier and caught that image...and OMG, they're actually going there with the purple and yellow/orange peeking out....

Yep. No mask, and the accent isn't a caricature - Kieron Gillen's writing for the character in that one-shot comic book had Batroc declare it part of his performance art "act" as a mercenary - but the colours are in use.
