I don't think they're completely omitting the Nazi's and Hydra has been the opposing force of Shield for centuries thanks to Jonathon Hickman revising their history.

It was supposed to be attached to The Green Hornet, but was pulled for more work after Marvel wasn't impressed with the footage.

I hope so. There is an asterisk beside it and X-Men that notes at the bottom "speculative and unconfirmed". Note Cowboys & Aliens didn't have the asterisk. I hope Cap and X:FC get confirmed.

I hate to say it, but my honest first reaction when I saw that pic (the first image I've seen of the movie version of Cap) I snorted with laughter. That's not a good first impression, I'm afraid. I know we can't expect the comic book outfits to be brought over verbatim (though they seemed to manage OK with Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Spidey, Batman and Green Lantern, to name a few) but there's something just wrong about this one. Maybe I'm having flashbacks to the Captain America TV movies of the 1970s.

I like the brown, and the more realistic, worn and torn approach. I think it makes the costume look a bit more lived in and not as over-the-top.

^ That picture illustrates everything that is wrong with the costume. All the brown and grey and straps and buckles take away from the classic look of Captain America. The ear coverings done in brown are really a poor choice. Moving at speed you lose all sense that this character should stand out from other American soldiers. As a symbol for America this outift is an overly busy failure.

That costume looks amazing. Very tastefully done modern update that looks both functional as well as tying into his classic look.

Looks pretty good. Can't wait to see how they handle the shield-slinging aspect.

I confess that I will likely geek out in a big way when we get our first shots of Cap, Thor and IM together in the Avengers.

Admiral I really enjoy the modern Ultimate Captain America. UCA is great and so is his far less busy uniform. Now if they change his look for the Avengers movie and update it to the modern UCA thats fine. Right now however it looks like they are doing everything they can to hide the fact that this guy is special. That goes against what Cap was designed to do.

The last two most recent pics side by side for easy viewing.

Both of these give us an idea of how the outfit looks in motion and static. I think it is a really good era authentic costume. I'm hoping that the modern costume loses the brown boots and gloves but other than that I like how it's looking.

Their helmets are very similar to the Hydra guys in the motorcycle chase picture, so I'm guessing they are Hydra too.
