I will. So there.

In all seriousness though, it would seem that the most successful superhero films financially have also been the ones that stuck closest to their source material (or at least what most of the fans consider to be faithful at least). I would hope that isn't lost on those at Marvel but then again look at some of the movies that get this wrong so you never know but I would think they'd be hesitant to deviate too much.
No black actor for this please. it'd be like having a chinese Superman.
And exactly what would be wrong with having a Chinese Superman?
Well, the 1990 Captain America movie was very close to the original material (except for making the Red Skull Italian for some reason). But it was awful in many ways (despite some good bits).
I'm sure your question is rhetorical. Anyway, political correctness isn't a good enough reason to change a cultural icon like Superman. No black actor for this please. it'd be like having a chinese Superman.

What does political correctness have to do with Superman or any other character.
I personally like the irony of a physically perfect "superman" combined with white skin, blonde hair, blue eyes...basically Hitler's "Aryan" vision personified...
...being the ultimate enemy of the Nazis and all they stand for.
Political correctness means it's okay to make Batman or Superman into someone who isn't white, but if you make Storm or Spawn someone who isn't black, all hell is going to break loose.
And Storm and Blade were both white up until recently. There skin was just darker than the others.
Today's political correctness is just vulgar.
Perhaps not, but I'd rather do without either one, personally. PC isn't an abolition of racism, it's a surrender to it.

Whatever. Colorblind casting isn't "PC" - people shout "PC" at the idea because, unlike racism, the charge is treated as respectable.

Next up.
A new biopic about Martin Luther King Staring Sean Connery as MLK.
^ It depends on whether the ethnicity of the character is actually relevant to the character. You couldn't change the ethnicity of Shaft because that's intrinsic to who he is. Likewise, you can't change the ethnicity of Captain America because that's intrinsic to his setting. But Superman's an alien--an immigrant who embraces the American dream; his ethnicity is irrelevant. People seem to be complaining for no other reason than 'it wouldn't look right', which has fuckall to do with the character and everything to do with their expectations.
EDIT: Still haven't figured out that multi-quote feature, I see.
