capt ronald tracey & sybok in next trek film (xii)

You're right, I did misunderstand you. But that's irrelevant. And you still didn't quote your source, so until then, thanks for your opinion as to who will be in the next movie.

Thank you for your response. Please put aside the belligerence. Peace.

Please don't condescend to me; it's quite annoying. Either quote your source or say you were joking. It's as easy as that.

On the TrekBBS, it's considered bad form to post stuff like this unless one is making it very clear that it's just a joke, which you are not.

My colleague, thank you for your investment in this thread. I look forward to your feelings about this topic. Have a pleasant day.
Though I suppose he might have put it in other words, Dukhat does have a point. If you would have your claims of "insider info" taken at all seriously, that you would provide further explanation and/or a link to a source supporting the claim is not an unreasonable thing for others to expect. The steady stream of "my colleague" and "my friend" and "thank you for" this or that really isn't an adequate substitute for confirmation that your claim is a valid one.

I suggest now that the rest of you settle down and wait to see whether cj1video is able to provide anything further which will lend some substance to the "spoilers" given in the opening post.

Has anyone noticed the resemblance between Cumberbatch and the actor Lawrence Montaine who played the Vulcan named Stonn in Amok Time as well as the Romulan Officer 'Decius' in Balance Of Terror???

A little tidbit. The writers did say a while back that we would see a recognizable character from the first season of the original series. Balance of Terror was released in 1966

Well excuse the hell out of me for asking for proof for his accusations. Yeah, he got on my nerves, and now I'm gonna ignore him. So frickin' sue me.

Will do.

I'll speak to my "frickin" lawyer Monday morning.

The plot of the movie is clear from that photo. The whole Enterprise thing has gone to shit and everyone's had to get day jobs to help make ends meet. Spock is working loss prevention at The Gap and just caught Cumberbatch, who is clearly playing Moriarty, trying to smuggle out some leather pants.

"The Final Frontier has never been so FABULOUS!"

From the SpinoffOnline article which contained that picture:

SpinoffOnline said:
And while we still don’t know who Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch plays in the sequel, we can now say with certainty that he goes a couple of rounds of Zachary Quinto’s Spock, with an apparent assist from Zoe Saldana’s Uhura on what’s being characterized as “a space barge set.”

(emphasis mine)

You've got a way to go yet in selling the "Captain Tracey" angle.

Cumberbatch shoplifting from a Vulcan?

The stories were lies. Brannon Braga IS still writing for the franchise.

That's what TREK XII needs! Mooninites!

Ignignokt and Err would make perfect foils for Kirk and the Enterprise. They could even try to get Chekov or Sulu hooked on the MOON MASTER video game as part of their diabolical plot to take over the Federation.
