I knew in the back of my head after reading all the reports that ENT was going to be cancelled.

I admit I don't know how U.S television works what politics are involved, how nielsen ratings work and quite frankly at this point in time I don't care. All i care about that a show I enjoyed and loved is no more.


I'm really surprised that I feel this way. I am really upset at this I have never ever felt this way about a TV show being cancelled before.

I have wrote this in another thread but thank you to everyone who was involved with Enterprise.

You will be missed.

Surely they pretty much left Voyager to it's own devices to write those scripts? Time in between would have worked wonders for both series.

Guys, there's ALWAYS hope... even when the odds are against you, keep the hope alive... have faith.

If you truly like the show, then stop with the gloom and doom and DO something to try to save Enterprise...

It's never too late to do anything.

There's always an alternative, and we only have to find it.

Buy the DVDs. Support the show in other ways.

That sucks. I wonder why they made the announcement so soon. Didn't they wait until later in the year last year to make the announcement. UPN truly sucks!

I never believed for a second this would happen. I never gave it a second thought that ENT would be canceled. I just knew it would go on like all the others with its inevitable controversies and constant battles between fan factions. This is like getting hit in the stomach.

the only alternative i can see is for B&B to go away, far far away

and give the show to Coto and Sussman

I remember watching Star Trek IV one stormy night back in the 1980's as a kid, it's UK premiere I believe, I remember Encounter At Farpoint's first airing on BBC2... and since then I remember Star Trek always being there, and suddenly, there's a pause -and my God, it better only be that: a pause.

I've got another 22 episodes awaiting, and that's the end for a while, may the new film come and go, and another Trek come one day in the future.

Thanks to all the cast and crew of Enterprise for the last four years - much appreciated! And thanks for Manny for giving the show the send-off season I've heard so much about, I can't wait to see it!

Star Trek: Enterprise RIP.

A party in....Alaska? Isn't that an oxymoron?

What I really don't get is people getting mad at UPN or Moonves, neither of wich had anything to do with the creative proces of a show that blew off a very large portion of it's initial audience.
To me it's obvious that the people who where in charge of the creative proces are the ones to blame, as the show improved a lot when someone else took over the creative side.

Anyone else in Moonves position would have made the same decision, and perhaps even sooner.

I remember the day UPN debuted in 1995. With shows like "Pig Sty" and "Platypus Man," Voyager was the only thing keeping the network going. Now, this is how it shows gratitude. The largest and longest-running science-fiction franchise in history, a huge part of human culture, takes a hit because of ratings and money. UPN has dealt itself the death card.

This I do agree with. VOY should have never been created so soon after
A) The end of TNG
B)The launch of DS9. Hell, TPTB could have waited a season or two before creating that one and just launched in on UPN instead of VOY.
But this is a thread to express our sadness about losing a beloved show and not to bash the Star Trek whipping boy...so I digress.

ok, i will. very few things upset me in life except of course serious recriminations . this qualifies as one. a million emotions enter into the picture when a man makes a decision based on his own views. now i think enterprise from the get go was filled with quality, hell im one of the few who actually enjoyed tpols foray into learning to experience humancharacteristics. however this is what happens when brannon braga and rick berman think they know better than the fans . some individuals dont listen to reason, they have to learn the hard way. well rick berman and brannon braga learned the hard way
