How many do people remember, some may be cancelled now with the new guidelines but there are several I remember from the past:

STAR TREK: DAS VERMACHTNIS (The Legacy) - promised as a full-whack 90min TOS/TNG crossover feat Q and the Klingons made in Germany with proper sets; fetured on trekkies2 and looked bloomin gorgeous!!

. All shot but not post-produced 'by the grace of god' apparantly

STAR TREK: FIRST VOYAGES - 'lower decks'' style spin off from New Voyages/Phase II, speaking of which

STAR TREK: PHASE II:
several episodes including;
The World Above, The Sky Below
Origins: The Protracted Man
Rock-A-Bye Baby, Or Die!
Origins: The Protracted Man

Farragut Forward

Can anyone think of any others?

Both of which may never see the light of day which is a true shame...

And though I know the fair weather STC posse here doesn't care, there are some films still on the unreleased column from worthy filmmakers that still seem to keep chugging along but until they actually upload you never know what could happen...(right now THEY pique my interest quite a lot!)

special mention to: Secret Voyage, Valiant, Excalibur and Aurora...

Star Trek Chronicles has announced today that they will not continue.

The video description states: "A good friend of mine has many problems with CBS and his star trek fan film. So I decided to chancel my star trek project. Now i will show you some final VFX shots from the short movie. I hope you like and share."

I think it means the guy trying to make Star Trek Chronicles has a very poor understanding of what the lawsuit is about, and an even poorer idea of the kind of shitbag Alec Peters has revealed himself to be.

Don't forget Axanar! That is not happening anymore

I wasn't sure if Bixby was referring to Star Trek Continues, myself. I'd never heard of Chronicles before this thread.

The "season" of STC will be two episodes shorter...

Plus all the rebrandings, like the loss of Renegades and Isolation.

And I doubt anyone will every truly get funding time or budgets for an ongoing movie era TOS show now, either.

Long before Tommy Kraft came along and amazed us with that wonderful 'finale' to the ENT era, there was this promising looking TNG film being planned in Poland. Unfortunately the idea was abandoned, the bridge renderign was well done.

Now STC seems to be working towards their finale I lament Cawley not making his ever so slightly less, but it seems these two as well as The Protracted Man may not be completed which is a pity - apparantly Cawley actually fell out of love with filmmaking some years ago and would rather focus on Elvis and his set tour.

But hey, if the footage all exists MAYBE sometime in our lifetimes the 3 NVs can be completed. I tried to track down some of those involved in Das Vermachtnis to no avail bar Vulcan Willi who couldn't giove any answers!

I HATE things being left incompleted!

Apologies if you've seen my say this a thousand times but with Renegades judging by what I've heard and pictures of the cast, uniforms and even the bridge I'm aware there are changes in name, alien make up and ship design but I'm going to politely ignore them (bar Aron Eisenberg as he looks nothing like a Ferengi!!) and watch this as the follow up to STAR TREK: RENEGADES (which it is - Koenig is still playing this Admiral character for the final time with the SAME RUSSIAN ACCENT) and the script has had LITTLE CHANGE. After all apart from the Online game this is the only opportunity taken to bring back Uhura (her debut as an Admiral), Chakotay, Icheb, Tuvok, Jake Sisko, Molly etc in a time long after Nemesis #fightthepower

And yes truth be told I would have preferred a TOS movie era show that the 5YM, there are pics/photoshops of Vic Mignogna in the monster maroon and he looks utterly splendid. Farragut were going to do a spin off and build a TWOK bridge but I think that's been canned. A post-Nemesis TNG would have been good too, maybe merging elements from DS9/Voyager too.

The thought that we may never see the three unfinished New Voyages/Phase II episodes sort of drives me mad. I know that James Cawley is uninterested in completing them or even talking about them, and that seems unfair, not just to the fans who donated and have waited years to see them, but to the cast a crew who worked so hard on them as well. It's kind of unbelievable to me that they cannot be finished, or in the case of Bread and Savagry, remain unreleased simply because Cawley feels that the equipment used at the time made the episode look "amateurish" (an unsubstantiated rumor I've heard a number of times). Whatever wasn't shot for Bread and Savagry & Torment of Destiny can be edited around and visual effects shot can be left unfinished, just release some kind of workprint at least to the fans.

As for Origins: The Protracted Man, I again believe the unshot scenes could creatively be circumvented and the episode released, but this one seems completely unlikely as it heavily involved footage of Vic Mignonga and Alec Peters, who Cawley has personal feuds with. I mean, the entire Star Trek fandom have a just reason for a distaste for Peters, but the Phase II problems with Mignogna seem to be that he tried to take over production and when he couldn't he took a small splinter of the crew and built a more professional fan series that outshines Phase II in the public consciousness. I know these grudges have been hard to get over for some, but they're just actors in an episode. Be professional and get the thing in the can.
If Phase II really is throwing in the towel, please at least release what you have.

I apologize for the venting and don't mean to sound childish or entitled. It just seems illogical to just sit on the footage. Anybody else feel this way?

Here are two fan films I would like to see that weren't cancelled, but were lost!
Does anyone have any info on these films?

Star Trek Genesis: "Alone":
This film was released to the public but was later withdrawn.

I still am looking for the fanedit of Kitumba. I've heard it was paced much better then the actual episode.

Are you talking about the Vic Mignogna early-released version of Kitumba, or the one NV put out afterward?

I forgot about Vic's directors cut.... yes, that too! No, I remember when Kitumba was first released, a fan trimmed it down to a sleeker 45 minute run time or something like that, that removed a lot of the pointless exposition from the beginning, but Cawley threw a fit and had it taken down.
