Can you sync an Iphone and an Ipad to the same Itunes library?

OK, this is probably a stupid question. But after flailing around on the Apple website for what seemed like forever, I never could get the answer.

Long story short. I Have an Iphone. I'm considering getting an Ipad. IF I do, can I sync both of them to the same Macbook with the same Itunes? And if so, what kind of issues can it cause?

Yes. You can sync as many devices as you want to the same library. iTunes keeps track of them all. No issues that I'm aware of, unless your library is larger than the available space on any device you have.

Multiple devices are no problem. You can even choose different syncing options for each device. For example you can choose to sync all your music to the iPhone but only sync Video to the iPad. Same with apps. Each device can have different apps on it.
