Can we just see the fuelling Eugenics Wars already?

Who should cameo in the Eugenics Wars?

* Frelling Eugenics Wars

"Star Trek" has been dancing around the Eugenics Wars since the character Khan was first introduced in the 1960s. With all of the time-travel retcons, they can safely reset the Eugenics Wars whenever they want now. So instead of just showing us a young Khan, or another Dr. Soong working on Project Khan, can our next time travel adventure just show us the darn Eugenics Wars already?

Show us Khan at the height of his power. Or his climb to power, or his fall from it. Show us how the normies managed to defeat superhumans. Give it a cyberpunk streak. Toss in some Easter eggs. Have the bus punk use his obnoxious music as a cover to ferry refugees across borders, or something. Go crazy.

They were at one point supposedly considering a Eugenics Wars series codenamed "1992" but have since moved it in-universe to the 2050's. I think they really just want to do a present day show so they can use real locations without changes and save money:lol:

I don't want to see a Eugenics Wars Series but since it's an option: I'll take a show about The Punk On The Bus!

The Hell with Star Trek, I think that would make for a fun show, Star Trek or not. "I still hate you!"

EDITED TO ADD: And we need Rain Robinson herself in there! Sarah Silverman! Though we can have the daughter in there too.

Your idea would have made a *really* good spin-off from Picard season 2 starring young Guinan and Rios with cameo guest appearances from special guest star Seven of Nine, Captain of the starship USS Relativity. I wonder which faction of the Time War moved the Eugenics Wars from the 1990’s to 2050’s anyway and what their agenda in doing so would be? Would this have given Khan more time on Earth before his banishment aboard the Botany Bay? Perhaps Khan is not even exiled in this timeline, this could be all part of the Temporal War - preventing Kirk and Khan’s meeting in the 23rd century. Perhaps La’an is only born in this altered timeline? In the prime timeline Khan may not have had the opportunity to have children and thus descendants such as La’an due to his time on Earth being cut short? :shrug:

It was the Romulans.

And their objective wasn't to move the Eugenics Wars, they intended to prevent them from ever happening in the first place, because it would mean that the Federation was never formed.

Then Khan never goes to space on the Botany Bay? If the Romulans are now a confirmed faction in the Time War, then perhaps some other faction targeted their sun in retaliation?
:eek:

No, then it would be at a specific point in time.
Trek is trying to make it about "Our" future, so there playing with the timeline to keep it in our "Prime" universe. If there is a series, then its set.

Everyone is quite quick to smack the idea down, but it could be a really different way to do a Star Trek show if done right. A sort of mesh with Star Wars in that it could be a Regime/Resistance show (with Trek stuff).

It could be cool.
