But quite frankly I felt the book just didn't fit Christopher's writing style and played to all his weaknesses instead of let him use his strengths. *shrug*

No matter what anyone says, reading Before Dishonor and Greater than the Sum will help overall. And they are not as bad as some say.

As did I. But I did prefer Greater than the Sum just a tiny bit more. Guess I wasn't in the right mood for Peter David and BD.

I'm a completist, so chances are I will end up eventually getting ALL of the books.
Well, the relaunch stuff, i mean. Not all the ST books since the dawn of time....

Before Dishonor wasn't awful, but it wasn't really something you needed to read to understand Destiny, either. I haven't even read Resistance.

Really, I'd say, read Q & A and then skip to Greater Than the Sum.
