Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood

Has anyone else played this yet? It's a pretty decent FPS action game. The Wild West setting is a refreshing change of pace from the typical modern or sci-fi settings usually seen in the FPS genre. The guns aren't historically accurate (apparently in the CoJ world, every soldier in the Civil War used a Winchester rifle ), but I can forgive that since an FPS with more realistic 1860s guns probably wouldn't be too fun.

Is the first game any good? I'm thinking about checking it out now, after playing Bound in Blood (which is a prequel to the first game).

I haven't played it yet.

I hear the first game is a pretty big step down from the second. I'll probably skip the first. I'll wait to pick up Bound in Blood until I can pick it up in the 30 dollar range. The Kotaku review was pretty much glowing, and the trailers were cool.
