Having been inspired by several other fan attempts at a chart like this, along with the website "Star Trek Design Project", here is my WIP for a guide to all Star Trek Insignia and Ranks, starting with The Original Series (which is as far as I am aware, complete), and The Motion Picture (likewise), with the rest of the TOS Movie Era very much incomplete.
Artist's Note: Insignia designated as "Disputed Canon" are because they contradict Bob Justman's memo regarding the nature of the "Flying Arrow" Insignia, Insignia designated "Speculation" are because of the lack of visual evidence, and are instead following the logic given by the ranks that precede or succeed them as a guide.
