Fiona gets more than she bargained for when she gets involved with a paranoid kidnapper; Michael's plan to stop a black operative has deeper consequences.

Hmmm... since activity level has dropped significantly in this thread, I think I'll be calling it quits once the season is over on making new Burn Notice threads. Probably NCIS and Human Target too. :(

In a change from the previous season, I actually find the continuing stories more interesting than the single missions. Didn't really care much for the argentenian kidnapper and fionas past. I found myself rolling my eyes during several scenes on the episode.

I'm curious to see who "simon" is. I was thinking maybe someone we thought was dead. Either that or Michaels dad.

The way they made the kidnapper's motivation out to be, I thought he'd end up becoming another "client" for Michael to help out.

Yeah, I think they were trying to ramp up a bit of sympathy for the kidnapper, but then turn it on its head and reveal he's a desperate, paranoid nutter.

I found the arc story more interesting too. I liked Mason Gilroy, suave and deadly at the same time - he'd make a great supervillain. "Perhaps you should run along" Smooth to the end.

Simon sounds like all kinds of trouble, even worse than Mike's previously had. And that's saying something. Hope it isn't a really huge cliffhanger we have to spend months hanging out for.

Well with the way they break up the seasons, you'll only have to wait three months for season 4 to begin.

If simon is going to be a pre-established character there are only a few options. (well only a few options that are still alive that is.) Jay Karnes/Bennan was still left unresolved, but I'm not sure if he has the chops to pull this off. (Looking at simon though, Bennen does fit the build.) Initially I was thinking it was going to be Evelyn since Lucy Lawlass seemed to be a big actress to use in just one episode, but simon is clearly a guy. I was also thinking it would be

Weston senior. They've been talking about him for awhile now without even showing a picture or a flashback of the guy. There was certainly enough mystery around to guy to make him a spy. It always felt like they were holding on to him as a big surprise. But if it really does turn out to be his dad, it's kind of out of left field. After all this time dealing with his burn notice, he still doesn't know what's up with that, all of a sudden he gets tangled up in a crazy plot that's not connected to the burn and it ends up being about his long lost dad.

Of course it could be any number of villains that were killed off screen by their own devices.

In the end I just hope it's not some new guy that's never been mentioned before.

Totally....one of the best parts about USA's shows.

Just saw that In Plain Sight is back on March 31 too, impressive lineup at all times of the year

OK, just got around to watching it. I give it an above-average. I can't give it an excellent, because so much depends on how this cliff-hanger turns out. I LOVED how Gilroy was removed from the picture (harsh!) and liked the scene with Sam and Mom. I love those two together.

So....I can't wait to see how this plays out. The Feds, the super-evil-unknown criminal....AWESOME.

Since John Mahoney is coming back, I wonder if they missed an opportunity for David Hyde Pierce to play the scary, evil, unstoppable big bad guy.

I'm fairly certain that no one would BELIEVE David Hyde Pierce as the scary, evil, unstoppable big bad guy.
