Michael gets out of prison with help from an old friend, who wants Michael to extradite a thug who is displacing landowners in Latin America.

If anyone cares, there's a Burn Notice marathon on USA from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET/PT before the season premiere.

Anyway, for season three, Jennifer Esposito is out and Moon Bloodgood is in, if anyone cares.

Can't stand Jennifer Esposito so that's a plus. My wife and I will be there! Had no idea actually, thanks for the heads up. :techman:

I got the first season on DVD and freakin loved it.

Unfortunately Season 2 doesn't come out for a couple more weeks, which means I wouldn't be able to see THIS season until next year probably. :(

I'm looking forward to this but they need to bring John Mahoney back as Management at some point this season.

Excellent episode. I should've called the guy being no good but I try not to think ahead when I watch shows. It was a particularly violent episode, no? Great stuff and this season's plot of people coming out of the woods is ripe of great stuff. Plus, it appears that Management is still keeping an eye on what is going on.

I voted excellent. I think they did a great job of changing the game on Michael. I wondered how bad it would get for him and they sure wasted no time.

Nice turn at the end.

At the same time I hope that bona fide friends come along. (I was so disappointed that Victor was killed off).

I like how this episode has Michael so completely vulnerable. I also like the reactions from Fi and Sam.

Also the line about Mom's house getting blown up--"You're safer in jail right now." :lol:



God, this show is so much fun. :D

That was a bit of a disappointment for "Threshold" guy to turn traitor. Michael could use some more friends, but I guess the budget won't allow for it.

Did anyone watch the Burn Norice/Royal Pains "crossover" commercial? I wonder how a Robert Goran/Michael Weston team would do? :)

Actually, I thought that was kind of odd. Michael didn't blow up her house.

^Actually, it made perfect sense. The goons were trying to get to her, to use against Michael, which led to her house getting blown up.

I actually thought she took it rather well, considering.

I loved the new direction. I think John Mahoney will be back. Michael's gonna get tired of old foes coming after him after a while.

Always cool to see Brian Van Holt onscreen. When he was in Austin filmin' Man of the House, he stayed at the hotel where I worked, very cool guy.

Shame to see him turn bad in the end, but should have seen it comin'. If he had really been an ally, he would have shown up sooner, I think.

And I love the BN/RP crossover commercial! Not as good as the different USA characters in the diner, but still amusin'.

I've had some time to think about this episode and I now wish they hadn't changed Michael's situation immediately. I think I would have preferred that things seem on the surface to be business as usual for two or three episodes, but Michael knows that the appearance of "normalcy" -- as he has known it since arriving in Miami -- is the calm before the hurricane. Management is lulling him -- or so they believe -- into a false sense of security.

I think she knows what kind of work Michael does, she had to know that she was in some danger. I'll take being alive over having a house too!

Really great episode though, so pumped to have this show back.
