Got a Kirk glass today at a BK near work. No standee inside, but huge posters on the windows advertising them.

They come in gorgeous boxes, also. Each box is different, depending on what glass is inside. The Kirk box has a gorgeous pic of the Enterprise in space.

This BK will start the kids' meals next week, but the glasses were there now, and they look great!

picked up a set of the glasses last night. and yes, you can purchase just the glasses for $7 something...forget the exact total. each comes in its own little box.

My local BK won’t start selling merchandise until May 4th.

The manager said $2 for each glass and $1 for each toy (if bought separately).

I'll snag a set of glasses right away. Can't wait to get those.

So we know the manager of our local BK, and apparently, the Trek glasses are selling like wild-fire. We live in po-dunk no-where, and they went through half of the first case yesterday.

Got me 2 Uhura's so far. Going back today - and every day - to see if they're on the second case, third, fourth...

I didn't see any Star Trek BK threads up so I figured I'd start with this http://trekmovie.com/2009/05/02/exc...star-trek-toys-glasses-image-from-commercial/ I don't know about you, but seeing the KING dressed as a klingon made me cringe a little! I Mean it's just so stupid! I thought the point of this movie was to get AWAY from the ''TREKKIE'' sterotype of dressing up as klingons?
