Bullet to the Head trailer (Stallone, Slater, Momoa, Akinnuoye-Agbaje)

Re: Bullet to the Head trailer (Stallone, Slater, Momoa, Akinnuoye-Agb

I'm not sure about some of the dialogue from the trailer but I'll be checking it out as I am an 80's action star junkie.

I think the Last Stand trailer played better, not sure it'll be the better film but the trailer felt like it sold the overall film better than this one did.

As an 80s action star junkie, trailer dialogue shouldn't really be much of an issue. ;)

True in part, but then again, one of the reasons why the likes of Die Hard or Lethal Weapon have aged so much better than most 80s action movies was the quality of script that each had.

I'm always wondering why people look back at the 80s and think of stupid films when they weren't so stupid at all. And even worse, why they start celebrating the really stupid ones. Like you said, some of them had great scripts. Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Terminator, etc..., these shaped action films for the next two decades. And they are not remembered because they are stupid.

In comparison with the old films, Expendables 1 was the worst Stallone film he has ever done. I hope that Expendables 2 gets better.

And Bullet to the Head doesn't look that great either. Two days ago I saw Assassins, which isn't that great, but still a lot better than this appears to be. But yeah, we'll see.

Regarding Arnold's and Sly's faces... I think Arnold still has his original face, no jobs done. Stallone had some stuff done, noticeably.

Sly has always had issues with his facial muscles because the Doctor that delivered him in the medical ward accidentally sliced his face with a scalpel. When he was young, his family had no money to fix it. I would suspect that he has had a number of procedures done to his face in his adult life - both for medical and cosmetic reasons.

The fact Walter Hill directed this has me interested.
