Bullet to the Head trailer (Stallone, Slater, Momoa, Akinnuoye-Agbaje)

Aragorn

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Schwarzenegger's got The Last Stand, Stallone's got Bullet to the Head, based on the French graphic novel Du Plomb Dans La Tete:

"Grandpa, I mean, Dad, are you OK?"

Seriously though Stallone looks pretty good for 66.

Re: Bullet to the Head trailer (Stallone, Slater, Momoa, Akinnuoye-Agb

The dialoge sounds corny, the action looks pretty good....yep, I'm there.
I know it isn't exclusive to DieHard 4 with the younger/older partner thing but I felt that way when Stallone and the cop kept having those generation gap moments.

I like the cast, was that Sarah...from LIFE? IMDB should confirm.

Anyway, I'll get a Stallone fix tonight at Expendables 2

Re: Bullet to the Head trailer (Stallone, Slater, Momoa, Akinnuoye-Agb

I thought that this looked a lot better than the trailer for The Last Stand, even though the initial premise for TLS sounded better. But then again, this is directed by the great Walter Hill and I do think that Sly is a better leading man than Arnie.

Remember when Tom Jane was supposed to co-star but then someone decided that buddy-buddy action movies work best with a multi-racial mix?

For me it's the other way, I thought The Last Stand looks better than this, even though both look like DTV movies.

^To each their own.

They definitely both look like DTVs though!

I'm hoping the two make as good a double feature as I suspect.

Re: Bullet to the Head trailer (Stallone, Slater, Momoa, Akinnuoye-Agb

^And then there's The Tomb, the Prison Break-sounding-like movie they're co-starring in.

Looking at the number of posts this thread has attracted as oppose to The Last Stand, it certainly would seem that Arnie is still a bigger draw than Sly. I'm a minority view again!

Re: Bullet to the Head trailer (Stallone, Slater, Momoa, Akinnuoye-Agb

The movie looks okay. I almost didn't recognize Jason Momoa without the dreadlocks. I hope that all those tattoos on Sarah Shahi are just for the movie.

Re: Bullet to the Head trailer (Stallone, Slater, Momoa, Akinnuoye-Agb

Between this and The Last Stand, I don't know whose face now looks more unreal, Sly or Arnie. I'm going with Sly. Man, talk about too much work being done...

Probably will be a fun movie though!

Re: Bullet to the Head trailer (Stallone, Slater, Momoa, Akinnuoye-Agb

It looks OK, Stallone's weird velcro hair is baffling, Walter Hill usually delivers a solid action flick.... I didn't spot Momoa at all!

Re: Bullet to the Head trailer (Stallone, Slater, Momoa, Akinnuoye-Agb

I find Stallone's shape in incredibly amazing in this film. He looks like he did this film right after Cliffhanger or Demolition Man. In Rambo 4 he looks bloated, in Expendables 2 he looks very old.

Regarding Arnold's and Sly's faces... I think Arnold still has his original face, no jobs done. Stallone had some stuff done, noticeably.

Re: Bullet to the Head trailer (Stallone, Slater, Momoa, Akinnuoye-Agb

^ Are you joking about Arnie's face? I think he's starting to look like one of those bad guys from Star Trek Insurrection...

Why, he looks normal to me. He had surgery on his jaw, but that was like 20 years ago I think. Stallone on the other hand...

Perhaps we could just agree that, when it comes to action movies at least, they can only appear in movies together from now on?

*Exception: I'm still waiting for my Schwarzenegger/Shatner buddy-cop movie. Come on, Tinseltown; these two won't last forever!

Arnold's jawline has definitely altered, but I suppose that could be surgery you already mentioned. I think his nose has probably had some work too (maybe including his cheekbones, maybe not), and I'm pretty confident in guessing either lots of botox or some variant of facelift. I think more likely the latter because he doesn't look plastic, just fractionally too taut.

Sly's has changed much much more, but I suspect a fair bit of that could be down to HGH use rather than surgery necessarily (though again, maybe both). I wouldn't be surprised to learn he's used both collagen fillers and botox extensively, given how simultaneously mushy and plastic his face looks.

Of course, it's impossible to really know what's been done, and the above is just guesswork (with a little bit of experience of seeing some of the outcomes) but I reckon these guesses aren't all that far off. Cosmetic treatments and surgery can work wonders, but generally that happens when used to slightly slow the appearance of aging rather than trying to reverse it.

Looks pretty badass to me. Wish Jane was still in it, but whatever. It's like Hollywood constantly conspires to deprive me of my Jane fix.

Re: Bullet to the Head trailer (Stallone, Slater, Momoa, Akinnuoye-Agb

I'm not sure about some of the dialogue from the trailer but I'll be checking it out as I am an 80's action star junkie.

I think the Last Stand trailer played better, not sure it'll be the better film but the trailer felt like it sold the overall film better than this one did.

As an 80s action star junkie, trailer dialogue shouldn't really be much of an issue. ;)

^^^
It's not.

What was that attempt at a catch phrase he uses near the end of the trailer with hand gestures.
