I much prefer him as Wayoun. I would have never ever believed they were the same person.

Yes the actors name is Jeffery Combs. If anyone in Star Trek deserves any sort of academy award it is him. He is a really good actor with a wide array of talents.

The magnificent Ferengi was rewritten to remove Weyoun once it was realised that Combs couldn't play him and Brunt in the same episode, or more spefically the same scene. Later on it happened, but with the characters in disconnected plots so Combs could do one day as Brunt, then play Weyoun on different sets the next day.
There's one daring cut straight from a close-up of Brunt to one of Weyoun as if to say 'Yep, we're really doing this!'

Indeed... Jeffrey Combs is an amazing talent and always enjoyable on screen. I think I enjoyed him most as Shran.

J.G. Hertzler also played a few different characters in DS9. Coombs was really great as both Weyoun and (ex-liquidator) Brunt. Tiron wasn't terrible, but his episode was.

Hertzler as a Hirogen on VOY, you wouldn't have recognized him visually, but as soon as he speaks, that's another story.

Combs too. His voice is pretty distinct.
