Well, as far as I know, I'm predominantly Scottish and Welsh, though I identify a little more with the Scottish side due to my last name, which is about as Scottish as you can get.

Beyond that, there's quite the mix of others... I know I have a little Irish and a little German, possibly English as well. The bottom line is I tick off "Canadian" under ethnic identity on census forms.

"Canadian" ethnicity seems to be defined by most of us as anyone who is a mutt like you or I

Another mutt here. I'm primarily of Irish, Scottish, and German descent (plus a dash of Italian seasoning) with some other fun stuff mixed in over the centuries in smaller amounts.

Scottish, both sides. Mom's parents born and raised (until teens) there (in Dundee). Dad's mother's dad born there, but moved to Canada as a child. Dad's father concieved there, but born here.

my grandmother on my mother's side was Japanese, other than that, pretty much Irish with a twist of native American
