Bring Back Gaila!!!!

ust talk to the actress who made Zhaan in Farscape, she had bleeding from kidney in the end.

Are you serious? :alienblush: did she sue? is that why she left?

Why she left, yes. Did she sue? Absolutely not. She liked being a part of Farscape. When she left the show during season three for health reasons, it was a sad moment for everyone involved with the show, but everyone understood why and so did she. And guess what? She comes back in two episodes during season 4!

Well I always wondered if you just dipped someone in like green Kool-Aide... I mean the red stuff stains damn near everything! Have her take a bath in like extra food colored Kool-Aide LOL - at least for things like arms and legs and then make up for the face, neck and bustline if needed - I mean I'm sure there has to be a better way of coloring the skin less toxically. I mean think about stuff like foundation and such that girls put on all the time. Hell I'm sure half the crew wore more make up than a Las Vegas showgirl

Being a long time fan of Orion girls I am definitely in favor of her coming back. I do have a change request though: she should have dark green lipstick like the Orion girls from ENT.

Eh let it be something totally different like... purple or something. I know the lips were a bit off... but eh, so what. I just want her back!

I thought she was real cute when she gave Uhura that huge grin and thumbs up about getting assigned to the Farragut, she was so excited! And.. it was a kick in the gut to know she had died.

Unsurprisingly, I'd love to see her show up in the next movie.

How could she have survived? An escape pod is one possibility... or perhaps the Robau, merciful as he is, whisked her away before the Farragut was destroyed, thus saving her from certain death.

I would love to see more of our favorite Green Orion "Slave" Girl!!!

Blah blah blah, Enterprise, blah blah blah, not slaves, blah blah blah, are in fact the masters, blah blah blah, insidious plot to spread their influence, blah blah blah only person who watched it.

You're not the only one who watched it. Note that bryce had "Slave" in quotes, implying it is something that they are called, regardless of the truth. Which it is. ;)

She is obviously very pretty. And she had a nice characterization in the little screentime she had. A perky yet competent officer.

However, I think that the make-up was terrible. We saw some very believable orion girls on Enterprise, and they had a great green make-up. Maybe it was the red hair or the pick lipstick, but she screamed "it's a faaaake" from the screen.

To me, it just screamed "hybrid". As in, half-Orion, half-Irish. And I thought it worked much better than the generic swamp-woman color scheme they've always had in the past.

one sorta wonders if that is what she was supposed to have been.
hmm

i do hope she escaped into a life boat of some type.

^
^^ If she does come back -- and without an on-screen explanation as to how she survived -- will some of us be shouting "continuity error!", or will we be content to say to ourselves that she could have used an escape pod?

Like I said, after my second viewing of the movie, in which I was specifically looking to settle this question (and a couple of others), I'm pretty darned convinced she was assigned to Enterprise. I could still be wrong - it wasn't spelled out in so many words. But the very happy look on her face when she got her assignment - which we didn't hear - said to me that she was A. on the flagship, which everyone wanted, and B. on the flagship, where they both expected Uhura to be, as well, until a few moments later when Uhura gets told "Farragut" and has to go talk to Spock.

Could be, and it could even be the thinking behind the choice. I look forward to a half-Orion, half-Monica Bellucci hybrid, then! :techman:
