Brian Brophy didn’t return?

I think its time, going into this new century of pages, as we are, to ask the hard question that none of us wanted to:

If he didn't return, why? Did Brian Brophy ever really exist? Was it all wishful thinking? If Brian Brophy doesn't exist does Maddox exist? Does the Next Generation exist?

Let’s not get silly here.🖖
We’ll be asking if TOS,Disco and SNW take place in the same time/space next.

And nobody wants that.😜

I don't know about any of that or even you, but I certainly exist. The rest is immaterial. ;)

Maybe Brian saw the creepy subplot of Maddox dating Jurati (keep in mind that the character of Maddox had to be at minimum in his 80s, and even that's assuming he was a 25 year old cadet-to-captain Kelvin Kirk prodigy when he vetoed Data's Academy admission) and declined the role.

This is really starting to tick me off.

There isn’t much time left. Star Trek: Picard only has, what, 0 episodes left? They only have 0 more opportunities to retcon Maddox’s death and bring back Brian Brophy (“BBBB”, as the petition is called) as the TRUE FANS demand.

I’ve been a Star Trek fan since 1870. In the aftermath of the American Civil War, Captain Kirk’s five-year mission was a breath of fresh air. 118 years later, when Bruce Maddox, brilliantly played by Brian Brophy, challenged our preconceptions of what it means to be human, several dozen true fans were appalled to learn that he would not be replacing Brent Spiner as part of TNG’s main cast.

Suffice it to say, Alex Kurtzman had a chance to right an ancient wrong. As usual, he didn’t take it. Instead, Maddox was thrown away like yesterday’s garbage, tossed aside at the whims of a tiny man with tiny ambitions. BBBB is our path to salvation.

In the next 0 episodes, the writers have got to find a way to BBBB or I am out.

they could do a Very Short Trek with Brophy and Spiner just playing random characters at a Dom Jot table, just to confuse and piss people off. That would be marvelous.
