Since Maddox ultimately ended up being meaningless to the plot and was killed immediately.
Oh, Adama stares hard at Brophy, all right. In fact, he can't take his eyes off Brophy. But he's not glaring. Adama's little breathy sighs are the dead giveaway.

Maddox is like Khan. Not huge screen time for Montalban but everyone’s talking about him, including us 40 years later.
Don't forget Brian's great contribution to the film: being the model for Khan's magnificent chest.

After his costume fitting they changed the episode title.
Brophy took a piss once after leaving South America, and thus we have the Panama Canal
