Bradley Cooper as The Flash?

One would argue the same thing with Ryan Reynolds and he is still wearing Green Lantern's mask. I don't get that comment.

But the estimated $375 million budget to fit in all the actors, hire the best special effects company and actually shoot on location for space scenes and the underwater fortress will force some cutbacks in other areas. We can only afford JacksonArcher as director for $6.75 an hour.

The irony being, that's ten times his normal salary.

It'll be the first project I do where I actually get paid!

I really wish we could get Bradley Cooper and Ryan Reynolds to switch parts. Cooper seems more like Hal Jordan to me, and Reynolds seems better suited for the Flash. But whatever, they're both good actors. I can deal.

BTW, I am writing and directing my own rival production of a JLA movie with Matthew Bomer as Superman, Jon Hamm as Batman, Michelle Ryan as Wonder Woman, Leonardo DiCaprio as Aquaman, Ryan Reynolds as The Flash, Bradley Cooper as Green Lantern, Woody Harrelson as Green Arrow, Yvonne Strahovski as Black Canary, Gerard Butler as Hawkman, Michael Berryman as the Martian Manhunter,

Christina Hendricks will still star as Poison Ivy.

Sorry, Jackson. ;)

I got the bigger budget! ;)

I agree that Bradley Cooper and Ryan Reynolds should be playing the opposite characters- for some reason I see Cooper more as Hal and Reynolds more as the Flash, but oh well. I think Reynolds will do fine as Jordan.

Warner Bros should have been more aggressive with their development of "The Flash". I remember Ryan doing press junkets with David Goyer for "Blade Trinity" and being really excited about the possibility of being in "The Flash". I too think he works better in a Flash film than he does as "Green Lantern". I've held the opinion since his casting that he doesn't look like Hal at all but more like Kyle.

Actually, we're planning to offer you credits, then use creative accounting to 'prove' that it was a flop and you're not entitled to any.

Johnny if you are planning on using Hendricks...well we can recast Ivy with Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Who I was strongly considering for my Wonder Woman. Ah well, as long as they're both in skintight skimpy costumes, I'll be a happy man.

Honestly, I spent WAY too long considering those hypothetical casting choices last night. The last time I did was about 8-10 years ago and lot of my then-casting choices (Catherine Zeta Jones for WW, Kenneth Brannagh for Aquaman) are now too old for the parts. That's the problem with casting these damn comic book characters - the actors keep getting older, but they stay the same! They're like the high school girls Matthew McConaughey dates in Dazed & Confused.

Latest unsubstantiated rumor being reported by the websites is that Chris Pine is also someone they're looking at for Flash.

I like Chris Pine. Could be fun.

But, again, he seems more like Wally.

Perhaps they are blending Wally and Barry personality wise. Hmmmm.
