Damon will not be returning for the fourth Bourne movie, but the director is quoted as saying it will not be a reboot or recast. Instead it will expand the Bourne mythology with a new character.

My fear is that it will just be a generic action movie that uses the Bourne name to sell a few extra tickets. Then again, Gilroy wrote the scripts for the previous films, so maybe he will deliver the goods.
