I've been surprised at how many of these I've seen, even the ones considered "bad." Calling them all "knock-off" verses is a little unfair, but there is no doubt that without Lucas' 1977 film none of these works would have existed.

The Bad Movie Bible is one of the most underrated YouTube channels. This video essay, as well as the others in this series, are great fun and give a good taste for different campy subgenres. They're all about an hour long, but they are well worth the time.

Seconded. With gusto. All the Borrowing Blockbusters are excellent. They're so well made that it doesn't matter if you're interested in the blockbuster in question or not. Great fun.
