Spoilers Borg probe?

V'Draysh are 33rd century. Tyler said it was messed with in the 28th century (and we know the Federation is around and well in the 29th). So, it doesn't seem to have a Calypso-era origin.

I can't see how the Borg would be interested in a piece of "primitive" tech like Disco's probe. Heck,I doubt they'd even be interested in a 500 year old starship unless maybe for the drones.

I'm thinking Borg as well. I know no one wants to hear that but my gut, my mind, goes right to the Borg. (see my comments on the grading thread)

Wouldn't love or hate it but let's see where this goes.

I could accept almost anything......but please God no Borg.

:rommie:

The Borg did cross my mind, and my inner-monologue shouted the same thing.

I do hope it's something entirely new. Not everything has to be a throwback.

That's hilarious, I just posted something along these lines in the grading thread, and then saw your post in the very next thread I looked in!
Great minds think alike. You see, my Shepard was black woman, I´m on a lot of nostalgia waves with DISCO.

In any case, it's sorta hilarious how we're right back to the era of black vs. white stetsons here, with every threat entity glowing red and all the good guys (or at least Feds) glowing blue...

The Borg did have the red laser pointers, but the ST:FC/VOY/ENT color generally associated with them was that ominous green nevertheless.

I don't think it's the Borg - the upgraded probe was too sleek in its design, Borg technology always looks cobbled together (because it is).
