30th Annivery of Man Landing On the Moon
24% Off List On All Science Fiction Titles

I was able to pre-order The Soul Key for $5.59 with 64 cents in rewards.

The sale is a good time to pick up some Star trek eBooks.

^ I'm going to assume the answer is no, but out of curiosity, are those compatible with Kindle?

It's help pages state that BooksOnBoard also offer the Mobipocket format, of which the Kindle format is a relative. This link may be slightly helpful in fixing Mobipocket books for reading on the Kindle. However, I didn't saw any books who are actually available in the Mobipocket format, just ADE, Microsoft Reader and eReader formats.

That makes it hard to read a book on other devices or on your own terms; BooksOnBoard makes heavy use of DRM in it's eBooks. Fortunately, BooksOnBoard also publishes eBooks in the Microsoft Reader (.lit) format, for which there are conversion tools available. You could convert a .lit book to .txt, which can be read on the Kindle directly (and can be read just about anywhere in any size/color/fontfamily you want).

Do read the EULA; it might prohibit you from converting the Ebooks to .txt format, since it loses its DRM protection. If so, then you can't read the books on your Kindle.

The only place to purchase Star Trek eBooks for the Kindle is from Amazon since the Kindle is not ePub compatible. Lack of ePub on the Kindle will be it's downfall in the long run.

I'm not sure if that DRM shifting method works at BooksOnBoard. And the LIT method will not work as S&S no longer produces LIT format eBooks. They stopped I think after Destiny #2. Besides, if you could strip off the DRM, it would be best to convert to Mobipocket which can be read on a Kindle as long as it has no DRM.
