Book'em Bed

Oh, I see. I usually drink straight from the bottle. At cons I lie on the floor and make my wife pour it in my open mouth. That way, I don't waste time later falling down.

the LIQUID variety of Captain Morgain, would be a better analogy. I love to blend Captain Morgan with, of all things, Sunny Dlite..I get my vitamin-c AND my Captain Morgan...mmm..mm...good..
Wow. That sounds really gross. But then I'm an imbiber of straight-up Scotch, Jack Daniel's, and the like....

Sunny D on its own is really gross. Who wants an oily imitation of orange juice? If I want an alcoholic fruit beverage, I'd go for a Strongbow cider. Or possibly one of those lambic fruit beers from Belgium.

I used to drink the occasional cranberry juice and Absolut, but I'm pretty much off the hard stuff these days. Never developed a taste for Scotch and I'm definitely off bourbon.

What was the topic again?

Nobody was really sure-which is how we ended up here.:) Something about visualizing while you read. Which is probably easier after imbibing some of the odd liquid refreshments mentioned in these posts.;)

That explains so much. Ah, Jack Daniels. The whiskey of champions.

Jack Daniels is in no way shape or form a Scotch!!!!!!:klingon:
It's not a Scotch whisky. It's a Tennesse whiskey.

Well I am sorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry, when some one says Whiskey, I personally think of the quality stuff that is made in Scotland and not the Bourbons that are made across that great big pond!

You shouldn't. Whiskey (with an e) is Irish, if you're referring to stuff made over our side of the Atlantic - Whisky without the e is a Scotch.

And I don't drink!

If you're going to get all nit-picky, Jack Daniel's is in no way, shape, or form a bourbon, either. By definition, bourbon is made in Kentucky. If it's made outside ol' Kentuck', it's sour mash. Jack Daniel's is made in Tennessee which, obviously, is not in Kentucky. :)

And whisk(e)y is also made in Canada, Ireland, and the U.S. It's everywhere! :D

Which a mate of mine did once explain to me all the different Whiskeys of the world, he even let me have some vile Indian stuff.

I was once served(I kid you not) Japanese whiskey. I dumped most of it into a potted plant after a little taste.Ii think the plant died.

Yeah, Japanese whiskey is about as good as Scottish sake would be.....

You know what's REALLY good? This delicious Publix Cream Soda. MMmmmmmm.

Sorry, I don't drink so nothing real to add here.
