Book Recommendations

I've heard then compared to Bond, but never Indiana Jones. I think we're all curious to hear why you say that Vulcanian.

I confess I was going for a sixties spy vibe with the first two books. The soundtracks for "Our Man Flint" and "The Avengers" were frequently playing in the background while I wrote the Gary Seven and Roberta scenes.

I could tell the 'The Avengers' inspiration. When reading those scenes it's as if the intended Seven and Roberta series actually got made but shown only in my imagination as it's so vivid.

The Eugeneics War is a great three book series by Greg Cox, if a bit like Indiana Jones. :vulcan:
:cardie:

What did you do that for?
Because I could not wrap my brain around the comparison of The Eugenics Wars to Indiana Jones, and it caused my eyes to turn mismatched and buggy, as illustrated.

It seems like they go to a place and get something. Not that it's a bad book. Remember the part when Kahn is dodging bullets and throwing those ninja star-like weapons in Russia?

Oh, yeah, now I totally see it.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go to the supermarket and get some milk.

Yeah, but that's not exactly something unique to Indiana Jones.

Pick up a copy of Voyages of the Imagination. Start will all the book mentioned. You can even do it in timeline order.

I also recommend the Vanguard series if you skip all the sexuality parts.
