A horrid thought. But one that I`m not seriously concerned about. I doubt there`s a new Trek series coming any time soon and even if there was, surely TPTB have more sense than that. Bakula wasn`t the best choice for ENT but no-one could be that stupid... could they?

How much TV do you need to watch to see Barrowman as over-exposed? I haven't seen him for months now, though I know his Saturday show is back on.

To be fair he might have more charisma as a Captain than Bakula had...but nah he'd be a terrible choice. I think he plays the cocky maverick type much better than the steadfast commander.

He is way overexposed in the UK though, although given that he's worked hard to get where he is I don't blame him for milking it for all its worth because his time in the sun probably won't last indefinitely.

Yeah his saturday show is back on. In fairness he isn't on the telly nearly as much as he was a year or so back, then he did seem to be on everything (a bit like Tennant last Christmas )

that said just about any TV show could do alot worse than Michael C Hall.
