Boeing's bird-of-prey

If you ever get to Dayton, Ohio the Bird has been hanging up in the USAF Museum for over a decade...

Nothing really new in the article. Everything mentioned there was released when the aircraft was declassified in 2002, although I don't remember Alan Weichman being mentioned before. I got to be at the rollout ceremony for this in St. Louis, and I've worked for Weichman before. Still a cool plane!

(Bugs me that gizmodo initially called it a Lockheed plane in the article, even though they corrected it.)
 
I always liked the F-4 Phantom. I have heard it called a kludge, but it still looks cool to me. Also the underbelly of F-35 smacks of the NX-01 to me somehow--coloration in the plates and all.
