Not too impressed. It's trying too hard to be a House knockoff, like half the other shows on TV these days. The dial is already cluttered with shows about brilliant, abrasive mystery-solvers with screwed-up lives and no social skills -- did we really need another? Beyond that, they even had Megan get her epiphany through some random comment somebody made, just like House (and probably most of the other "genius" shows on TV) -- and they made the connection very blatant when they had Megan diagnose that guy as having lupus. No way that was anything but an intentional nod and wink toward House.
Aside from that, there was way too much stilted exposition, too many scenes of characters explaining themselves and their backstories to each other. They even had that Curtis guy introduce himself by telling Megan what his job was, as if she didn't know already. And if this Peter guy has been working with her for six months, why is she suddenly opening up to him now all at once?
Still, it had its moments, and Delany's an effective lead. And at least they acknowledge that it's unconventional for an ME to be participating so directly in police investigations, though I'm sure they'll stop acknowledging it before long.
