It has (somewhat) similar themes and premise but I do enjoy "The Middle", which stars in the the kid who played the youngest in MitM who has the odd quirk of saying something and then at times repeating it to himself while whispering with his chin to his neck. Funny show. It also features Patricia Heaton and the guy who played the janitor on Scrubs.

yeah seems like i'm one of the minority on this one. I laughed out loud several times over the last three episodes. I think its just the style of humor that not everyone can latch onto. Its very deadpan and almost seems styled for autistics (like myself). I think the kids are hilarous. The lastest episode, where Tina thought the cow was communicating with emoticons in the poop - well thats brilliant. I can see where most would think "oh god! poop jokes" but for me its the mentality of someone of identifying with someone who thinks in that manner which made me love the characters. The previous episode where Bob holed himself up inside the wall - well, what can I say, I can relate.

I just watched it tonight. I'm a fan of off the wall humor, but this show doesn't do anything for me. I didn't smile the whole time.

Anymore it seems like comedies on Fox think the vast majority of people do their TV-viewing while smoking pot.

Sad thing is you might right about that, I always thought Superjail! was another show someone would watch when they were doing LSD or some other kind of drug. Bob's Burgers belongs on Adult Swim not Fox.

Well I didn't like it at first but it's starting to grow on me,I guess because I love Archer on FX and so hearing the same voice of fowl mouth secret agent Sterling Archer coming out of loving family man Bob Belcher is rather amusing plus the other family member's are coming into their own too.

However I can see FOX sticking it into the 7pm "blackhole" timeslot,though since American Dad seems to be FOX'S redheaded stepchild right this moment to be given that "reward" it may stay where it is for right now.

I think this show is cute. And better than MacFarlane's stuff. I mean, come on... how copied can you get..? At least Bob isn't a blatant Peter Griffin clone.

Bob, as a character, is a better father than Peter Griffin. Which is not saying much, but there it is.
