Blueprints!

Please forgive me if I put this thread on the wrong board. I am new here and didn't know which board to post this on.
Some years ago when I was High school and guy found out that I was a Trekkie and gave me some blueprints of the Starship Enterprise! I have had them for years now, but recently when looking forward them to show a friend who is also a trekkie, I couldn't find them.:( I know they are around somewhere. I haven't looked at them for a long time so I can't remember all the details of them. I was wondering if these blueprints might be worth something since they probably are collector's items.

Here's hoping I find them

eBay will give you an idea of what they're worth today. If you check, you'll see they are easily affordable if you want to replace them.

Unless they're a 1st printing in mint condition they're petty common ergi not worth much.

That was very nice of your classmate. I had quite a different experience.

Back in school, some joker found out I was a science fiction fan, and all through the year he kept promising to give me "the ultimate Star Wars encyclopedia" or some such nonsense that didn't exist. On the last day of class, he took out a Star Wars book, which turned out to be one of those little kids' storybooks that came with a 7" vinyl record (except the record was missing). He threw it at me and ran off laughing.

I really do not know if they are the first printing or not. I need to find them to see.

I just wish I knew where I put them!

Well, if you do find it, don't try to advertise it for sale here. That's against the board rules.

I had not planned on adverting them here. I just thought maybe I could ask if they might be worth something.

Those scans of them look like the ones I have!

Still trying to figure out where I put them

The Franz Joseph blueprint package hit bookstores in 1975. It would have been listed as a national best seller, except that technically it wasn't a book. Very much a pioneering work, It kicked off the sci-fi blueprint genre that's still going on today.
