Blue sunset.

A rather different colour from the usual sunsets we see but that's to be expect as it's a sunset not on Earth but on Mars no doubt the different colour is due to the martian atmosphere refracting the red end of the spectrum.

That really is quite gorgeous. I'm shocked my how small the sun seems from Mars.

I have a hard time thinking how small it must look like from Pluto.

Bear in mind that Mars is something like ~1.5AU from the sun, but even on Earth the sun can look bigger or smaller thanthey actually is due to perspective esp. when they are close to the horizon.

But what about this image taken from Voyager 1, the pale blue dot is Earth.
