David Yost, who played the Blue Ranger on the hugely successful kids series Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, recently admitted that he was discriminated against over his sexuality.

The actor, now 41, says he quit the show because he was harassed. “I was called ‘faggot’ one too many times [by the show’s] creators, producers, writers, directors,” he shared.

Just because he claims it doesn't mean that's exactly what happened, I'm not saying he's lying, but he may have conveniently forgotten some things to make himself look better. One of the producers flat out said David Yost was a pain in the ass and left over money issues and that's certainly believable, Saban was always extremely cheap and various people over the years described David as "diffcult" to work with.

The truth is probably somewhere in the middle, he was teased for being gay, some people may have called him faggot behind his back, but he was probably also a diva and pissed that he was demoted and was no longer a Power Ranger and that he wasn't making enough money (which was the reason that most of the original cast left in season 2)
