I remember when green laser pointers were expensive, and eventually the price came down. Blue beam pointers have been expensive for a long time now, with no hint of prices dropping...

Why are they so expensive? Please forgive me. I'm a little dumb on these things.

^Yeah, they make handheld blue, yellow, and purpler beamed laser pointers now.

The price is sky high though, usually > $1,000

I'm sure their prices will come down in time when the technology becomes more popular, more widespread, and more minaturized.
