Blu-ray and DVD release of season 1 on October 6th

I wish there was an option to have the episodes play back to back without the Title sequence and "last time on Picard" stuff. The DTS soundtrack gets loud during action scenes. I gotta remember to turn it down on those parts or my neighbors may not like it.

Got mine through today, they are really starting to skimp on the promos, no trailer and no episode promos. DISCO S1 had trailer and episode promos, S2 didn't have any trailers but had episode promos.

It is a real shame that these don't get included in Blu-ray quality I really enjoy them.

A January release is a bit odd though, surely you'd think they would want to capitalise on the holiday season (such as it is this year).
I remember hearing somewhere that January releases are still considered an optimal release slot, because of people who get gift cards for Christmas.

Welp. Guess I won't be renting it as the video store is being a piece of work. So onto waiting until I can buy it.

I still haven't picked it up. Work is up-and-down now. Thanks Covid!

How insightful are the "behind the scenes" bonuses? And how insightful is the "Remembrance" commentary?

I was really disappointed in how few deleted scenes there were. And only one episode had commentary. I still have already worn holes in my discs, though....

I ordered the Blu-Ray. Even though I'm disappointed there's only one episode commentary, at least it's on "Remembrance". I'm sure the behind-the-scenes information will be insightful. And, at the very least, I'll be able to watch Picard away from a computer, if I want.

Plus gift-cards. So there you go.

Finally got the dvds. Looking forward to rewatching s10 and watching the gag reel. :)

Yikes. I hadn't realized there's only one episode with commentary. But, yeah. "Remembrance" is one of the best episodes, so at least it's there.
