"Bloom County" to return

Not a bad start though I have seen that particular observation mined a few times by the late night TV guys. Might be the first time Donald Trump has been specifically described as having Lhasa Apso hair extensions though. :)
 
I hope he makes some Jeane Kirkpatrick jokes in the new strips. I know Kirkpatrick died years ago and she hadn't been the U.S. Ambassador to the UN since the '80s but Bill the Cat's infatuation with her was always one of the funniest things about the classic Bloom County. I'm sure most fans would get and love any references to her.

Exactly what I was coming in here to say! I don't really care if we never see Rosebud the Basselope, that annoying cockroach or Ronald Ann again, but I want Hodge and Port.

Interesting how Cutter John has gone gray, but nobody else has aged. Of course, we haven't seen Steve Dallas yet.

He certainly summed up the current Zeitgeist very well.

Yeah, that's why I said it wasn't quite a USS Enterpoop reunion. It's okay because if you look closely, it says "Aluminum Falcoln." Hopefully next time we'll get the proper reunion.

Berkeley actually commented on this when someone pointed out the same: "Cutter is the same age. He went grey after his Bush War experience."

There's been more Win in the past few Bloom County strips than there's been in the rest of the comic strip world for a long time now. Glorious. :)
 
If this helped bring Bloom County out of retirement then Trump should have run for President eight years ago! The bastard! :lol:
 
Hmmm. In the old strip, Bill the Cat ran for President twice. At the end of the strip, Trump's brain had been put into Bill's body and now Trump is running for President. Coincidence?

That Bill's brain is now in Donald Trump's body?!
