Blood Will Tell TP Printing Issue?

I tried searching for this, and couldn't find anything, but if this has already been covered elsewhere, please feel free to direct me to the original thread.

I had read Blood Will Tell in the original issues back when it first came out. However, I liked it well enough that I decided to buy the trade collection when I found it on sale. That was a while ago, and I actually just read it today... and found that on page 21, they used the page from the Klingon language version, instead of the English language version.

Once I realized that the translation was in the back, I could get the missing dialogue (after adjusting for the fact that the page numbers don't line up!), so it was just a minor annoyance. I just wondered if IDW ever reprinted this with a corrected version, or if all printings (if there was even more than one?) had this error?

Thanks!

I don't think it's out yet, but they are doing a best of Klingons trade that has all of Blood Will Tell, and the four-part opening of the first DC Comics series. So there is a chance that could feature the correct pages.

I don't think there was ever a second printing of Klingons: Blood Will Tell, perhaps because IDW keeps reprinting it in different formats. It's included in the third Star Trek Omnibus ("The Original Series") and in Best of Klingons, which came out in September.

In both subsequent reprints, the errant Klingon page is replaced by the correct English page.

It's funny, because I just re-read that book yesterday, and I had to dig out the Omnibus to read that page. I wasn't smart enough to flip to the back of the book and read the script!

I wish David Messina was doing more art for IDW's Trek line. Hands-down the best artist they've ever used for Star Trek titles.

Thanks for the info! I probably won't be picking up The Best of Klingons right away, but maybe if I see a bargain $5 copy at my local comic shop at some point in the future, I might pick it up just to have a corrected copy.
