So the idea of this thread is to post was sorta filler arc you would make if you had to make a filler arc for Bleach. You can't just say "I hate filler so i wouldn't do it." You have to come up with a Filler Arc that would be cool and add to the whole Bleach mythology.
Here is my attempt.
- The Ruined Future Arc -
It would take place between the Bount and the Arancarr arcs. Ichigo is being called back to the Soul Society to fill in some gaps on a report he made to the Captain Commander about the Bounts. No other Soul Reaper is able to go with him to the Sould Society so Urahara gives him a piece of equipment to travel safely through the Dangai Precipice World so he can sefly make it to the Soul Society. Urahara opens the gate and send Ichigo through on another "speed run" through to the Soul Society. Halfway through he notices the Cleaner is comming straight for him. He tries to avoid it and it appears it is attracted to him specifically. He turns around to tries to escape to the Human World. He tries to use Bankai but fails, he instead starts to turn into a Hollow and at the same time gets taken out by the Cleaner. The gate halfway opens before a Hollowfied Ichigo gets thrown out at an incredible speed Into the world of the Living. He wakes up to a landscape in ruins and desolation.
Turns out his experiance with the cleaner has thrown him years into the future. He wakes up when a couple of low level Hollows are almost ready to eat him, he is still in bad shape from his trip to the future and is almost killed. He is saved by Keigo Asano in a Shimigami Uniform before he passes out. Turns out that after he disappeared that one day in the past the timeline took a serious turn for the worse. Back at the Underground base simular to the one under Urahara's old shop Tessai explains that many of his friends were killed in the Arancaar attack. Rukia, Renji, Ishida, Sado, Urahara, Yoroichi, and most of the Gotei 13 were killed by the Arancaar assault, or by Aizen. Aizen has created the King's Key and has taken over the soul society. With Soul Society now beibng ruled by Aizen and the Arancaar, the Menos and other Hollow have taken over the World of the living and have pushed Humans to the brink of extinction. Tessai in a desprate bid to save the humans has recruited many of Ichigo's human friends and put them through the same sort of training that Ichigo went through when he re-gained his soul reaper powers. Keigo, Tatsuki, and even both of Ichigo's sisters have become Soul Reapers, Don Kunongi has even become one. A few of the Visoreds have survived and they teach Ichigo how to use his hollowfied powers as well as the rest of the scrappy group of former human soul reapers. They have been training in secret to storm the Soul Society and depose Aizen from his throne in order to save what is left of Humanity who are being slowly eradicated by the hollows.
Squad Karakura sets off to the Soul Society and enguages in feirce battles against some familiar Arancaars and some new ones never seen before. One by one they are taken out as the powers of the Arancaar has grown considerably and they kill the newly minted Soul Reapers. Keigo is killed off first, then Ichigo sees his sisters get killed by Stark. Ichigo flips out in a Heroic BSOD, and kills Stark, but he is badly injured. As Ichigo is dying he notices the bright light that is familiar, Orihime, who up till now has been runnign the Arancaar's version of squad four agaisnt her will has been rescued by Tessai. Tessai is very sad by the fact they failed and no one is left but Ichigo, Orihime and himself. Returning back to the world of the living after a desperate escape they decide maybe things would have worked out better if Ichigo didn't disappear. They hatch a plan to send Ichigo back to when he disappeared. As they are doing this they fail to notice the Arancaar Apollo Granz's bacteria have contaminated them and he informs Aizen of this development. Aizen sends out some Arancaar troops to stop them. Tessai and Orihime end up sacrificing themselves by fighting the Arancaar troops so Ichigo can make it back into the Dangai Precipice World and re-create the event using the device Urahara made, turns out it acted as bait to the cleaner instead of it desired result. Ichigo Hollowfies and faces off against the Cleaner once more. He overshoots however and lands several years before he became a Soul Reaper. He uses the Reishi masking coat Tessai gave him to hide out and witnesses all of the events we have seen so far. He then sneaks into Urahara's Shop before Ichi is slated to return to Soul Society to report on the bounts. He breaks the device Urahara made that caused this problem all along. The next day, present day Ichigo goes to Urahara's to have him open the gate, Urahara says he will have to wait for Rukia to escort him over tomorrow and he agrees. We see the other Ichigo walk away and slowly fade to nothingness as the tinmeline has been changed.
