Blakes 7 trivia.

Well she could be forgiven on that one - we don't know how many people Servalan took aboard the Liberator.

Plus when you had
Blake
Avon
Gan
Vlia
Cally
Jenna

That makes six (unless you count Cally as not human) :)

She only took three others with her as she only had four functional teleport bracelets (from the crew minus Vila, who was still on the ship, I'm assuming the bracelet found by Avon was either a fake or broken).

I always assumed it was a real Liberator bracelet, Blake and co must have left dozens scattered around the galaxy  and that Servalan was using it to beam the signals to Avon. She definitely only took 3 people with her. I'm assumning she would have taken her other 2 if they hadn't been killed by the links...

Trivia wise...B7 was a replacement show for Z-Cars, a police drama. The downside is that B7 basically got Z-Cars' budget! amazing B7 looks as good as it does.

I am sure you all know The special effects were by in part Ron Thornton (T2, Doctor Who, Babylon 5, Star Trek DS9, Voyager, Nemesis)
Gareth Thomas bought me a pint and is a top bloke for a Liverpool Fan.
Brian Blessed was in Star Wars Episode One and Doctor Who as well as being in episode 3 (Cygnus Alpha)
Colin Baker was in it before he was Dr Who.
The effects were cheap but the concept is good.

^Yes and he hammed it up so much that--supposedly--Darrow went over the top when he was in Who in revenge!

Which James Bond Alumni also appeared in Blakes 7? 1 hint, season 3.

I think Star Wars own General Veers appeared as a surgeon at one point too, amusing to see someone like that downgraded from commander of a squadron of AT-ATs to a surgeon who gets wasted by the Federation for trying to dob in Blake and co.

I remember watching that not too long ago and finding him maddeningly familiar. I ended up pausing the show and looking him up on IMDB. Pretty awesome stuff.

The S1. episode Bounty featured the great Irish actor TP McKenna, whose extensive CV also includes playing the title role in Dr Who's Captain Cook four parter and an episode of The Avengers. Karl Howman, from Brush Strokes and those annoying ads for a certain cleaning product in the 1980s, was in S2's Shadow. John Savident, Coronation Street's butcher Fred Elliott ('I say Fred Elliott!') was in S2's Trial.

Four characters of the 12 that made up the crews of Liberator and Scorpio can't ever do reunions because their actors have died; David Jackson (Gan) and Peter Tuddenham (Zen, Orac and Slave) have both died in recent years.

Well depending if you thought of it as a tribute or horribly disrespectful, since all you need is Tuddenham's voice for ORAC (Slave and Zen are both 'dead' although Slave could be rebuilt and another Zen in another DSV is a possibility) you could reuse snippets from episodes (plus the audios)?? Just a thought.

I didn't necessarily mean in the show, reunions can just be get togethers. Doesn't matter that their characters are dead or not.

Huh? But you specifically mentioned the characters, even going so far as to list 3 characters for one actor.

Makes me wish this was back on TV, it was one thing that got me up at 630 on a Saturday to watch an episode followed by the Doctor Who omnibus on UKGold.
