BTW I'm rewatching the first series now and it's great! Brian Blessed is so insanely hilarious in every single second. All the supporting characters are great. And the episode plot lines are much more interesting than in the other series. I just regret that we never saw a continuation of the first episode with Henry Tudor coming back. Oh, and I also loved the actor who played Richard III. He was actually incredibly creepy as a ghost.

I don't get why so many people rag on the first season. You're absolutely right about Brian Blessed and Edmund had some great lines in this series.

Scottish Leader: "Perhaps now you'll think twice before you pass judgment over the people of Scotland!"

Edmund: "I wouldn't pass water over the people of Scotland..."

Although, the last episode of Season 1, "The Black Seal", is one of my favorite episodes of the entire series.
