Birdman - Did anyone see it?

So I watched Birdman the other day! What did people think of it if you saw it?
I think it may be one of them 'Marmite' films, where you either love it or you hate it!
Personally, I loved every minute of it! the way it was filmed, the acting, story, everything about it was wonderful!
I loved how it followed an old hack of an actors try and deal with his personal demons, his depression and all of his coping mechanisims.
It has certainly set the bar very high for this years more 'indie' film releases! I would be shocked if Michael Keaton doesnt get the best actor nod at the Oscars. I know there are some strong opponents for it, but he was just amazing and I can expect to see more of him in the coming years!

I watched it, but I was actually lukewarm to do it. I liked certain aspects, particularly how they constantly left you guessing about whether or not his powers were real. But the pacing was a bit slow for my tastes; I kept finding myself wandering off in thought during several scenes.

I think it's a pretty good movie. Very meta, though. One of those films meant to appeal the most to filmmakers, like Synechdoche, New York.

Pretty much agree - I liked some aspects but particularly in the middle I lost interest a bit, and it seemed repetitive. And I couldn't have cared less about Emma Stone's character or her romance with Norton.

I think Birdman is a very good film. Edward Norton is particularly great in it and the cinematography was excellent, but I didn't quite think it was Oscar worthy as a best picture.

I saw it, and was absolutely riveted for the whole two hours. Keaton's performance is electrifying and most certainly Oscar-worthy, and Edward Norton was excellent, too. I loved the cinematography, and most of all, I love how the film doesn't answer its questions. Is he really Birdman? Is this an elaborate hallucination brought on by stress and desperation? What happens to him at the end? I'm not sure. I'm not sure I want to know. But I definitely want to see it again.
