Retired UC Riverside scientist Robert Heath will kick off “Afternoons in Special Collections & Archives” series.
Heath will speak about ways in which scientific concepts and inventive technology interact with fundamental areas of human cultural development, such as ethics and politics.
The lecture is the first in the series “Afternoons in Special Collections & Archives,” featuring UCR faculty and staff authors.
Heath, a native Californian, earned a B.S. degree in physics from Caltech, an M.S. in physics from the University of Michigan, and a Ph.D. in biophysics from UC Berkeley
