Oh, you seem to have “adjusted” your original premise a bit. Welcome to the real world.![]()
Or perhaps misstated it early on. Or had what I meant misinterpreted. My overall views on the subject did not change.

“Perhaps?” Well, did you “misstate,” not, and if you did misstate, what was your misstatement? Also, why did it take so long for you to claim to misstate your point?Or perhaps misstated it early on. Or had what I meant misinterpreted.
Really? Here is your original point to which I responded;Or had what I meant misinterpreted. My overall views on the subject did not change.
Here is your next to last post:Humans are biologically wired to fear what is different from themselves. It's an instinct that has kept our species alive for centuries. Unfortunately, it can easily turn into racism.
Looks like an “adjustment” to me.All I know is that racism is fueled by ignorance, and focusing on the differences between peoplephysical or cultural, real or imagined) is one of the bread and butter tactics of organizations who promote it. That's one of the "carefully taught" par adigms: the notion of "they are not like us."
BS!I'm saying that people have a tendency to fear what they don't understand. Both my quoted statements are intended to make that point.
Yeah, you tried something like this before, only you’ve changed it’ a bit.And you're the one who's implying that racism is fueled by seeing people of color in pop culture. Seemsto me like the opposite would be gtrue.
BS!Your original post attributes people’s fear, mistrust, and hate, to biological reasons, meaning, people are born with these characteristics. In the course of the subsequent beat down, you realized how idiotic your statement was and you tried to move the goalposts by broadening your position to encompass a much more realistic viewpoint, all in an effort to save face.
Wow, okay.Clearly, you're not going to be satisfied unless I declare myself to be a stupid, useless, pathetic imbecile who doesn't know anything and has nothing to contribute to this or any discussion and needs to keep his mouth shut.
Still trying, huh? For the record, this has nothing whatsoever to do with the discussion you and I have been having the last few pages. This current argument started when I called out your post on humans being born fearing, etc, other humans. SMH,Two, you haven't changed my opinion. Bill Cosby might be a rapist and a scumbag and a despicable individual, but I believe that his show made a positive cultural impact.
I'm curious. You don't think humans have dark animal like instincts in us at all despite this being the case with other animals on the planet? If so why would the fear of differences not be one of those dark human instincts?Wow, okay.
Listen bruh, I’v been wrong before, obviously wrong, on this board and other places on the internet., and one thing I’v learned about being wrong is, it’s best to admit it and move on.
Arguing beside the point, creating straw men, attempting to recast the original point (moving the goal posts) obfuscation, make you look a lot worse than you might have by conceding on all or at least some of your incorrect statements or points. This is especially true if a person can’t adequately defend their position, and/or cannot offer adequate rebuttal.

I’v answered this question in the last few pages. Babies are capable of, and will, love the person that takes care of it, loves it, provides for it, no matter who that person is or what that person looks like. The reason is because babies aren’t born with an instinct that would cause them to automatically hate, distrust, fear, other humans. This is a concept taught by racists and white supremacists, though it’s probably not limited to just those groups. I can’t believe I would need to explain this in the year 2021.I'm curious. You don't think humans have dark animal like instincts in us at all despite this being the case with other animals on the planet? If so why would the fear of differences not be one of those dark human instincts?
