Farragut Fest is this weekend at Farragut Films Studio in Kingsland, Ga., home to the world's largest and most detailed replicas of the original show's sets.
It's a rare chance to get inside the 10,000 facility, used to film a web series that can be seen online at farragutnetwork.com or on youtube.com. The sets are not open to the public, except during the annual Farragut Fest. Three other series — “Star Trek Continues,” “Dreadnought Dominion” and “ExeterTrek” — are also filmed on the sets.
