BigFinish Doctor Who Subscription

I'm thinking about getting a Doctor Who Main Range subscribtion from BigFinish and got two questions:

1. I can't decide from which release to start the subscribtion..any suggestions? I love the 8th Doctor..so maybe choosing a start release that I get as much as 8th doctor in one year would be the way to go?

2. Is the whole subscription billed at once, or do I pay monthly? Couldnt find that out on the website.

1. Depends on when you're looking. With the exception of the earliest Eighth Doctor stories, which were released in two blocks, the monthly releases are staggered such that you usually get 3 stories with the 5th through 8th or 4 stories with the 5th through 7th Doctor per year.

2. It's all billed at once.

If you're a huge Eighth Doctor fan, I might recommend checking out some of the Eighth Doctor audios before buying a full subscription. The first 50 releases are discounted from the rest of the range.

You really can't go wrong starting with "Dark Eyes". Not only is it a "fresh start" for 8, its really frickin' good.

I listened to 'Dark Eyes' and really loved it. 8th is a fun Doctor to listen to.

I think anyone who wants to "start" with Eight, can look no further than his Eighth Doctor Adventures, which have Lucie Miller as his companion. Its the best place for a newbie for sure.

For the Sixth, grab all the Evelyn Smythe audios you can find, Trial of the Valeyard and The Last Adventure box-set, which features his very own regeneration story. Thats about as succinct as you can get, and from there you choose.

For the Fifth... well, I guess the first ones he did with Nyssa, and his Lost Stories.

Seventh... well, I'd suggest the Mel audios for a start.
