Big Stars in Their Earlier Efforts

a big-name star of Lois and Clark and Desperate Housewives appeared in a small role as a transporter operator in TNG season 2. Teri Hatcher WAS Lt. BG Robinson!

a TNG 7th season episode features a young girl who reminds Lwaxana of the daughter she tragically lost and has suppresssed all memories of. the girl was played by KIRSTEN DUNST!

Don't forget that Nikki Cox was the little girl in the 2nd season TNG episode "Pen Pals." This was, of course, pre-puberty and pre-post-puberty enhancing.

I was watching Coma (1978) last night, starring Genevieve Bujold (the other Captain Janeway). Tom Selleck (Magnum PI) has a small part as a patient with only a few lines. Later Vaughn Armstrong (Admiral Forrest from Enterprise and numerous other Trek roles) has a tiny part as a security guard. Lance LeGault was also in it playing his perennial baddie.

Soylent Green (1973). Though hardly an early role for him, Brock Peters (Admiral Cartwright) shows up as Charlton Heston's Police Chief.

An even younger Shatner in a 1955 live TV presentation of Billy Budd:

John Schuck and Rene Auberjonois were both in the 1970 movie M*A*S*H, as Painless Polish the Dentist and Father Mulcahey, respectively. Schuck went onto be the Klingon Ambassador in the ST movies and Auberjonois Odo in DS9.
