Big Damn Hero

^ I think it was coincidence. It occurred to me that because I left early, which almost never happens, and I missed my exit because I couldn't merge when I wanted because other cars were in the way, which has only happened to me twice, that the event could be viewed as such.

If it was divine intervention, there would be no way of knowing for sure, so I default to coincidence.

Well done, Kommander! You are indeed a hero. :)

It's been almost 20 years since I studied psychology at uni but when you described how most people were just standing around and looking the term "bystander apathy" popped into my head. It refers to that fact that most people, when witnessing something like the accident you described, will assume that another bystander will do whatever needs to be done, so choose to do nothing. You, sir, have shown that you really are better than the average person. :bolian:
