Oh, joy. The website I watch TAR on decided that it wasn't going to play on my browser (I use Edge). So I tried others. Nope. Not gonna play.

Telling me to contact my telecom is pointless. So I decided hell with it and looked up to see who won. It's pretty much as expected, so I guess I saved myself an hour's watching.

Cast can be good-looking without being on a dating show. What matters is if they actually have a personality that isn't just geared toward social media clicks.

Remember Blue on Big Brother? Her whole schtick was finding reasons to pose so her social media fans could drool over her and share those images. She had no actual personality that wasn't shallow and spiteful.

Well yeah but usually when you're casting a reality show that is made up of people from other reality shows, you pick the people who had memorable games. In this case it feels like they just picked the hottest guy. Do you remember Liam & Yeremi, the 9th place finisher on Amazing race almost a decade ago? And Yeremi was great on The Challenge, good TV. But I just don't get how he was cast based on his AR appearance that didn't stand out in the slightest.

Yeah, the AR finale was predictable. This is probably the most unbalanced season of all time, it was always going to be Jas & Jag or Tucker & Eric. When Tucker went out, it felt inevitable. Like *Maybe* Kyland and Taylor but an outside shot.

What do you think about Survivor? I'm annoyed that the two players who appear next season were spoiled so early. But as of now, Rizo is the clear strongest player this season. After idols had been so ineffective the last few seasons, he survives for four tribals in a row where they know he has it just by threatening to play it and then not actually playing it, and now he's guaranteed top 4 and a chance at fire. It really feels like Rizo probably wins. I don't see how Sage and Cristina even if they make final three could make any argument to win. Savannah was great at challenges but has no real social game, but that can sometimes win. Sophi played a great social game but after she blew the knowledge is power advantage when she could have played it against Rizo it'd be tough for her to win unless she makes a strong move against Rizo and Savannah.

I would be genuinely surprised if the winner was not Rizo, Savannah or Sophi. And for Sophi to wins she needs to have knocking out Rizo or Savannah on her resume.

I wouldn't know Liam & Yeremi if I found them on my doorstep. Unless the cast is really memorable for some reason, I tend to forget most of them 5 minutes after the show's over.

Survivor is pretty much unwatchable at this point. Rizo is the only one left to root for, and I don't even particularly like him. He's just less objectionable than the others, and I do have to respect someone who was able to hang on to an idol for so long, with everyone knowing about it.

So if he wins, that will be okay.

I must have missed hearing who's going to be on next season.

So... thoughts on the Survivor finale?

I'm severely annoyed. My early picks for winner were either medevacked out of the game or sent home before the merge. Then my next choices were voted out. My second-last one lost the fire-making challenge. Then my very last one didn't win and I don't like the one who did win. But thank goodness the most obnoxious person didn't win.

Preview of next season... yikes. Some of those people haven't aged well.

I'll definitely watch this. There are some of my favorites from umpteen seasons ago who will be on it!

I was fine with Savannah winning though I honestly think Sophi's game was underrated. I was rooting for Rizzo.

I'm excited for Survivor 50. Currently up to season 33 in my previous episode watching, season 32 was Aubry's debut. Looking forward to seeing her in 50. I don't think Michelle was a bad player by any means but I still don't understand how she won over Aubry. She played the clear superior game.

The one player I have no memory of whatsoever is Jonathan Young, but I might get to season 42 by the time the show actually starts at this rate.

I'm most interested in how Jenna plays. Her first time in the game people went in thinking the votes would be based on merit. Last time she played there weren't any idols. Now she's back after 20 years after having watched the new seasons.

I'm trying to avoid any further information about the season except who's playing in it.

Did you hear Mickey from BB27 died? Complications from flu that triggered some congenital heart condition is what I heard.

No, I hadn't heard that.

It's sad that she died so young. But hopefully this will make some people realize that the flu is nothing to dismiss lightly and it can affect anyone.
